And a little bit more for Santa Claus

Sorry but the title was running through my head. Who said it? Anyone else sick in the head? So today I have my first finished pair of felted clogs from the Fiber Trends pattern. Almost too small for my daughter, I knit the XL, glad I got the adult version too, lol. I used some of the fishermans wool I koolaid dyed last week. And a pair of shorties for my youngest that I also dyed yarn for. This was a free pattern, Doodlepants I believe. She's not in cloth diapers but they make cute shorts, dontya think? Sweet little hat that was already gifted to my neighbor for her friend's preemie. This was an experiment, no-pattern on the fly wool soap bag. Makes an excellent scrubbie but unfortunately doesn't quite dry out enough between uses, my handmade Greek soap got a little mushy. This was some clearance Joanns yarn called Sensations Licorice, a super bulky thick/thin. I'm cranking through a cute pair of longies using more of the rainbow yarn, hope to finish it today since I have ideas for other stuff I want to knit already I think I'm going to try this form of Stash Game

I taught myself to knit just over a year ago from online videos and the Stitch & Bitch book. I'm really just now getting into it though, trying new patterns & techniques. I knit English style which I hear is slow but I can't wrap my brain around holding the yarn with my left hand

I knit the required dozen scarves & washcloths but I won't bore you with photos of all that. I recently found a charity in need of baby hats so I got rather neurotic and knit up a half dozen one week.

This mock cable hat was my favorite, from organic cotton thick/thin yarn.

And a sweet little beenie that needs a proper ribbon.

My first (and only) sweater from a baby weight acrylic.

I figured out the elusive double pointed needles--my first pair of felted slippers (though I couldn't felt them too much or they'd have been to small for my little one). Knit Picks merino & a very fine mystery wool I koolaid dyed last summer.

I knocked out 2 pairs of the slippers in a week and am searching for another pattern to try. Those were from the Knit One Felt Too book.

A adore this sweet little ruffled hat. Bernat's "denim" yarn, a fluffy cotton blend and a free pattern online.

I have a booga bag done too that's just waiting for me to attach the handle.

My new obsession is the Pinwheel blanket here: Pinwheel
I have an 8" blanket after an hour's work, not too shabby for a beginner. These ladies are pros, such beautiful work!

OK, enough blah, blah, blah for now. Back to work

Tap, tap? Is this thing on?

Ahh, and here we are after a failed attempt at a blog on another site that shall remain nameless.

Welcome! I needed my own little corner of the web to show my knitting and no one wants to see each and every little hat I make as a separate post on a message board. Perhaps some insomniac will find my site one day and get a good night's sleep after reading my bs
